Thank you for checking out my blog! I'm getting ready for the Habitat 500 in July, and these are my (mis)adventures getting ready for the intense week of cycling!

After years of the college grind i.e. that spending 18 hours a day for 2 years in a ceramics studio, eating school sanctioned junk food from the food court, resulting in gaining 50 pounds- I've remembered how much I love cycling, and how much i want to get my body in shape!

I started training in February of this year, and have been going to Anytime Fitness in Brainerd, MN about 3-4 times a week.

Obviously, now that I've decided to do the Habitat 500 in July, I will have to step it up a notch!

Now that the snow is gone, i am ready to hit the trails! I'll be updating weekly with a summary of my activities in the past week, with photos- hopefully of beautiful green spring things, and not just the inside of the gym, though tastefully decorated, it certainly is.
